Since arriving in Montreal in 2007, Iris has devoted herself primarily to comics, illustration and writing. She began with rather introspective and autobiographical comics, in the form of blogs and fanzines, before turning to fiction. With a keen interest in the human condition, her favourite themes include everyday life, friendship, marginalisation, anxiety and the unease caused by social interactions… She usually tackles these subjects with humour and irony, whilst always striving to approach them with kindness and sensitivity. Her books are aimed at readers of all ages. Since 2015, she has been the creator of the series Les autres, published monthly in the teen magazine Curium. Alongside all this, she has also worked on the production and scriptwriting of the animated web series La liste des choses qui existent (season 1, 2019, and season 2, 2022), a co-production of La Pastèque and the NFB, in collaboration with Télé-Québec.
