Alexandre Simard publishes his first illustrated book, La famille des Réant, at the age of seven. Reviews were warm, except from his younger brother, who could not read yet. Alexandre later studied cinema at university. He wrote a few screenplays, none of which made it to the screen. He returned to writing in 2010 with Yves, le roi de la cruise, the first volume of a trilogy interrupted after two books. He is also the author of this biography.
