Chilean Women in Comics – Catalog 2021
56 Chilean women have landed in Canada! For the first time, the talent and work of women who are part of the Chilean graphic narrative ecosystem are reaching the Canadian market.

The Trade Commission of Chile - ProChile, official organisation promoting good and services from Chile, is pleased to invite you to discover the talent and creativity of these Chilean women who are showcased in the inaugural edition of the Chilean Women in Comics – Catalog 2021. This book highlights 56 female authors, managers, researchers, agents, and editors all at once. Chile wants to illustrate the growing importance of the role played by women in the national comics industry and whose professionalism allows them to be part of the competitive international scene.

On Saturday May 29th at 11am, please join us for the exciting launch of this new catalogue. Five talented women will discuss the characteristics and the trends in vogue in Chile as well as the challenges and opportunities they are currently facing.
