Paul Bordeleau, a native of Grande-Rivière in the Gaspé Peninsula, is a comic book author and illustrator. His work has appeared in the opening credits of the TV series La galère (Radio-Canada), on the covers of Le Montréaler (Somme toute), and on Sortie côté tour, a novel by Patrick deWitt (Alto). In the world of comics, he is the creator of the fantasy trilogy Faüne (La Pastèque, 2008–2010) and Le 7e vert (La Pastèque, 2017). In recent years, he has adapted the plays Pour réussir un poulet by Fabien Cloutier (La Pastèque, 2021) and Hypo by Nicola-Frank Vachon (Nouvelle adresse, 2023) into comic books. He conceives and draws his many projects at the La Shop à Bulles studio, located at the Maison de la littérature in Old Quebec, and he is left-handed (which is a fitting way to end a biographical note).
