Born in Quebec, Rémi became interested in comics at an early age by following a reading program at his local library. The authors who inspire him are Tardi, Manara, Edouardo Risso, Akira Toriyama, Taniguchi, and Moebius. He is as interested in European comics as he is in Manga. As a writer, he has illustrated several short stories in the Zidara9 comics collective and has adapted Gabriel Thériault's medieval short story Un chant dans la nuit into a comic book. He is currently working on the adaptation of the novel La bête originelle by Simon Rousseau into a comic book. As a publisher, he has published, among others, the comics Le poids du vide, Frivolesque, and Bernatchez Joe. He has more than 8 years of experience in the comic book industry.
