About Matthias Bourdelier
Matthias Bourdelier hails from the Luberon region, where he ran a bookshop with his parents. In 2015, he moved to Paris to enrol at the Cesan school, where he studied under Xavier Mussat. He was the first-prize winner at the Révélati’Online digital comic strip competition at the 2017 Angoulême Festival, which led to him being spotted by Dupuis to create Louise, a 20-episode webtoon. Between 2018 and 2020, he co-edited [sic] with Arthur Dorémus a free magazine featuring original works of absurdist literature and humorous comics. At the same time, Matthias works as an illustrator in the worlds of theatre and wine. In 2025, he published Toxique, a humorous comic, with Expé Éditons. He is a publisher at TTC Éditions, and has released Les Sourires du vin and Corse immortelle through the same publisher.
