About Eve Patenaude
Eve Patenaude spent her childhood in Montérégie, her teenage years in Estrie, and her adult life in Montreal. She is an author and illustrator, as well as a language and editorial proofreader. She loves books, drawing, embroidery, animals, winter, cozy sweaters, and sipping a nice cup of steaming tea while gazing out the window. In her free time, her favorite pastime is visiting museums or the Botanical Garden and filling the pages of her sketchbook. She has illustrated several picture books published by Quai no 5: Papier bulle (2021), text by Simon Boulerice, and Le plus petit sauveur du monde (2022), text by Samuel Larochelle, for which she won the Governor General’s Literary Award in 2023 for her illustrations.
