Youth
Born in 1974, Valérie Picard won her class's writing contest at the age of 12 with her detective story Les baguettes du chef d'orchestre. From that moment on, she was convinced that one day she would become a writer. As a teenager, she spent a few years in Europe. Later, she studied art, literature and anthropology, participated in archaeological excavations in Peru and worked as a graphic designer before becoming passionate about publishing. She enjoys taking her time, enjoying a good cup of tea, drawing, writing and doing art stuff with her Chihuahua Benjamin. She has an obessive worship of the 1980's.
