A Quebec writer of French origin, André Marois is the author of more than 40 books for adults, children, and teenagers. In 2013, his novel *Les voleurs de mémoire* won the Quebec Booksellers’ Award in the Youth category. He also won the Governor General’s Award and the Prix des Incorruptibles in 2015 for Le voleur de sandwichs, as well as the 2017 Peuplier Award for the picture book Aux toilettes. Since 2006, he has been conducting workshops and giving lectures on writing, crime fiction, noir fiction, science fiction, and creativity in Canada and Europe.
