About Sandra Breault

Passionate about sequential art, Sandra Breault studied comics at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), where she received a mention of excellence for the aestheticism and poetry of her work. She has collaborated on a number of projects, the most recent of which is Fantastique Acoustique, a collection of popular science stories in comic strip form, edited by Olivier Robin (2024). In 2023, she published Toutes les nuances de bruit, tome 1, a 168-pages autobiographical comic strip warmly welcomed by the public. The work was awarded the Jacques-Hurtubise prize for the promotion of independent comics at the Festival Québec BD, and was a finalist for the Bédélys prize for best independent comic strip at the 2024 Festival BD de Montréal. She is currently working on Vents Contraires (working title), to be published by Éditions Écosociété in 2025, and on volume 2 of Toutes les nuances de bruit, also due out in autumn 2025.
