About Sandra Breault
Sandra Breault is an author and illustrator originally from Joliette, now based in Montreal. She works on a range of projects for institutional and cultural clients. In 2023, she published Toutes les nuances de bruit (Volume 1), a 168-page autobiographical comic book that was warmly received by the public. The work was awarded the Jacques-Hurtubise Prize for the promotion of independent comics at the Québec BD Festival and was a finalist for the Bédélys Prize for Best Independent Comic at the 2024 Montréal Comic Festival. She is currently working on Vents Contraires à Mirabel, due to be published by Éditions Écosociété in 2026, and on volume 2 of Toutes les nuances de bruit, which is also due to be published in autumn 2026.
