About Mireille St-PIerre
Mireille St-Pierre was born in 1985 in Rimouski. After working for several years at various agencies as a graphic designer, she immersed herself fully in the world of illustration. Her work, which has garnered international acclaim, stands out for its ability to capture the nuances of human emotion with great sensitivity. In 2020, her first graphic novel, La brume, was published by Nouvelle adresse. This autobiographical tale, both stripped-down and poetic, recounts the grief of losing her first child, who died at birth. She returns in 2024 with Suivra le néant, a fantasy story inspired by the landscapes and nature of her native Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
