Born in the Outaouais region, Philippe Lemieux holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the University of Montreal. He has been teaching film and journalism at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme since 1997. Author of the book L’image numérique au cinéma, published by L’Harmattan in 2012, he has also written numerous articles for the Quebec magazines Cinébulles and Séquences. In addition, Philippe is a commentator on various radio programmes, notably ‘Debout les comiques’ (CKOI 96.9) and ‘Tout un retour’ (CIME 103.9). Passionate about comic books and keen to introduce cinema to young and old alike, he created the series L’histoire du cinéma en BD in collaboration with the illustrator Garry.
