Born in the Outaouais region, Philippe Lemieux holds a master's degree in film studies from the Université de Montréal. He has taught cinema and journalism at the Cégep de Saint-Jérôme since 1997. Author of the book L'image numérique au cinéma, published by L'Harmattan in 2012, he has also written numerous articles for the Quebec magazines Cinébulles and Séquences. Philippe is also a columnist for various radio programs, including Debout les comiques (CKOI 96.9) and Tout un retour (CIME 103.9). With a passion for comic strips and a desire to help young and old alike explore the world of cinema, he created the L’histoire du cinéma en BD series in collaboration with illustrator Garry.
