MCAF

A 15th Festival on Saint-Denis Street

From May 15 to 17, 2026, the Montreal Comic Arts Festival will set up its tents on Saint-Denis Street, between Gilford and Roy, creating a 1.2 km comic-themed walk filled with activities, exhibitions, and meet-and-greets.

Last year, the MCAF welcomed over 90,000 visitors, hosted 1750 exhibitors, and showcased more than 330 comic artists. The MCAF team presented a bilingual program of over 60 free activities themed Back to Future, held over three days for the general public.

Behind the Scenes of MCAF

Have you ever wondered how a festival is organized? How far in advance are artists invited? How is the person who creates the poster chosen? Why are there tents on only one side of the street?

Through a series of articles, we invite you to take a peek behind the scenes of the organization of the next edition of MCAF!
