Dominique Trudeau is a graphic designer and illustrator. At the invitation of the French capital, originals of his botanical illustrations were exhibited during the summer of 2023, at the Maison botanique du Parc floral de Paris. L'ouvrage (Mécanique générale, 2024) is his first comic book. We can recognize the author's passion for flora, in a tribute to Marcelle Gauvreau and Rachel Carson. The book is a family project, with contributions from the author's two sons. The drawings are by Dominique, the writing by Félix Trudeau, and the computer-generated images interspersed with the chapters are by Loïc Trudeau.
