Author’s Graphic Novel

Teen, Adult

Known for her sensitive perspective and spontaneous style, the self-taught author and artist Caroline Lavergne is always ready to take on the most adventurous projects. She has taken her pen and watercolors from the backstreets of Montreal to the artisanal neighborhoods of Tokyo, passing through the shores of the Bosphorus, the rapids of the Métis River, and the taiga of the North Shore. A passionate lover of all sequential art that reflects lived experiences and real events, she is the author and illustrator of Le film de Sarah (Nouvelle adresse, 2022) and has contributed short comic strips to several publications. She also created the illustrations for Les platanes d’Istanbul by Tassia Trifiatis-Tezgel (Les Éditions du Passage, 2018), Les saumons de la Mitis by Christine Beaulieu (Les Éditions de la Bagnole, 2023), and Comment sauver des chevaux sauvages by Andrée Poulin (Bayard Canada, 2025).
