Simon Pothier, also known as SIM, is a Québécois Canadian comic book creator and writer. He began with his self-published fanzine Wolfdragon around 2009–2010 and gained recognition through events such as Expozine and Montreal Comiccon. Between 2012 and 2015, he published several works as part of the ZIDARA 9 collective, including Nat the Mercenary and Roze the Space Pirate. He also contributed to the Jackpot project in 2013. He later created his project Bloodhunt, which was successfully funded in 2019 and published in 2020. Since then, he has continued to expand his science fiction universe, notably with the series Tales from the Natverse (2022–2024). He also co-created Hellzone with Aaron Calimeri, a new publication he developed, wrote, and illustrated, with his daughter Ellie X joining him as the flat colorist. His deux next projets are Bloodhunt 2 and Tales from the NATverse #3. A versatile artist, SIM is also a 3D sculptor, concept artist, storyboard artist, animator, and content creator on his YouTube channel SIM_INKSLAYER, dedicated to drawing and independent comics.
