Cara Carmina is a Mexican señorita who arrived in Quebec ten years ago with her two cats. When she was a kid and people asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, her answer was always the same: “I want to be an artist”. And that's exactly what she became! Today, she's an illustrator of children's books. Cara can't start her day without a good cup of coffee, and loves to spend her days in her pyjamas, drawing in her studio in Saint-Henri. She'll continue to practice her craft for as long as she can. Her favorite colour is yellow, and even though she can't cook, she makes the best guacamole in the WORLD! Whenever she can, she visits her little princess (her niece) in Mexico to teach her how to draw. But she always comes back to Montreal, because that's where she feels happiest.
