Charlotte Gosselin is an interdisciplinary artist who works in illustration, animation, video, large format drawing and poetry. She grew up in Sherbrooke and has lived in Gaspé, Chicoutimi, Anticosti Island, Montreal and finally Rimouski. She has participated in various exhibitions and artistic residencies, including the Angoulême-Bilbao-Quebec cross-residency in comics. The comic book Je prends feu trop souvent, published by Station T in March 2022, is her first publication. The artist currently lives and works in Rimouski, Quebec, where she is working on a second comic book. Her creative process is inspired by the forest and the ice of the river, small intimacies and her own sensitivity. She will be in residence at the Villa Marguerite Yourcenar in June 2023.
