Originally from the Outaouais region, Maude Roberto moved to Montreal to pursue her artistic ambitions, after training in animation at La Cité College and in comics at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her stories are both serious and anecdotal. She treats her stories with a light narrative approach and a visual style imbued with innocence and childlike wonder. She self-published a few fanzines before producing Trois semaines de printemps, her first major project. In everyday life, Maude also works as a freelance graphic designer.
