A native of Baie-Comeau, Alex Lévesque created his own comic strip, Dessine Bandé, to make a name for himself despite the distance separating the North Shore from the rest of Quebec. He began posting strips on his social networks in 2016. What he saw as an exercise in perfecting his humorous pen became an instant success and led him to the École nationale de l'humour, where he graduated in 2020. Now a humorist and author, Alex Lévesque deploys his offbeat style on stage, notably in major festivals, but also on TV and behind the camera as a scriptwriter for various programs.
