Youth

Jacques Goldstyn has been the main illustrator and cartoonist for Les Débrouillards magazine for over 40 years, and for Les Explorateurs for almost 25 years. He has received the Michael Smith Award for Science Promotion, has twice been a finalist for the Bédélys Québec awards, and helped the Débrouillards team win the Albert-Chartier prize at the Festival de la bande dessinée francophone de Québec (2007). In 2023, he was awarded the title of Artist of Peace. He also won the 2017 Governor General's Award for Azadah and the TD Award in 2020 for Les étoiles. For Bayard Canada, in addition to his many Van l'inventeur and Débrouillards albums, he has published Jules et Jim and Le prisonnier sans frontières.
