Catherine-Emmanuel Brunet has been cultivating her two passions, literature and documentaries, for over 10 years. She hosts the literary podcast "Ligne de Fond" on Télé-Québec's La Fabrique Culturelle, as well as panels during various literary events such as Montréal en Lumière, the Montréal Comic Book Festival and the Salon du livre de Montréal. She also works as a scriptwriter and content and archive researcher for feature documentaries and documentary series for Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, Crave, Radio-Canada, TVA, TV5 and Unis TV. She is the recipient of three Gemini Awards for documentary research and screenwriting. Since 2020, she has held the position of Vice President of the Audiovisual Researchers Association of Canada.
