After several decades working in animation and video games, Richard Vallerand turned his attention to comics in 2011. At that time, he founded the La shop à bulles workshop with a few fellow authors. Since then, he has drawn a few albums with fellow scriptwriters, including Automne rouge and Arthur Leclerc, projectionniste ambulant, published by La Pastèque. He also writes his own stories, which appear in Curium magazine, his Les Laborats series and Bande Son. His most recent comic is the comic adaptation of the play Foreman, with Charles Fournier at the script.
