Passionate about comics, Sylvain Lemay is the founder of the very first university training dedicated to this art in Canada, in 1999, at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). Full-time professor and director of the Multidisciplinary School of Image (ÉMI) at UQO, he is the author of two comic books for Mécanique Générale, Pour en finir avec novembre (2010) and Rouge avril (2022). He also wrote Ce n'est pas la première fois que je meurs, published by Somme toute (2022).
