About GAG (André Gagnon)
A native of Montreal, André Gagnon was part of the first team of artists to contribute to the launch of Safarir magazine in 1987. Between 1987 and 1997, he held various positions there, including scriptwriter, illustrator, editor-in-chief, and assistant art director. In recent years, André has specialized in coloring. He has worked with comic book artists such as Jacques Lamontagne, Denis Rodier, Tristan Demers, and André-Philippe Côté. For several years, he has been leading comic book and caricature workshops in schools throughout the Quebec City region. Several series have benefited from my touch: Shopkins, UMerlin, Trash Pack, Les Zelfs, Club Licornes, Oupelaï, Zombiband, etc. This year, Gag presents his brand-new comic book Franky et la mousse published by Éditions Rémi Paradis.
