Andy Bélanger is a versatile Canadian artist, recognized for his work in the graphic novel industry as well as for his unconventional career as a professional wrestler. Born in Kitchener-Waterloo, he is now based in Montreal, where he works as an illustrator, writer, art director, and wrestler under the ring name Bob "The Animal" Anger. Since the early 2000s, Andy Bélanger has collaborated with numerous major publishers such as DC Comics, WildStorm, IDW Publishing, Boom! Studios, Valiant Entertainment, Dynamite Entertainment, Heavy Metal Magazine, TKO Studios, and Ancre Noire. In 2020, Andy Bélanger co-founded Lethal Comics with Karl Kerschl. This independent publishing house, focused on crowdfunding, specializes in action, horror, and science fiction inspired by the 1980s and 1990s.
