About Stéphan Arche
Stéphan Archambault, also known as Arche, finds in trees a profound source of inspiration that permeates his work. While leading workshops on comic books as part of a cultural-education program, he devotes himself fully to his passion, drawing and amassing hundreds of pages for three different series in his studio near Lake Archambault. One day, he decided to take a decisive step and submitted a manga-style comic book to Éditions Glénat, recounting the adventures of a group of red squirrels. The publishing house then offered him a contract for four volumes. Kin-J, le peuple du réseau was a finalist for the 2025 Bédélys Award for Best Youth Comic, presented at the Montreal Comic Arts Festival. It also won the Young Audience Award at the 2018 Grands Prix Desjardins de la Culture de Lanaudière.
