Originally from Belgium and a trained carpenter, Kan-J decided one day to leave everything behind to devote himself fully to comic books and settle in Canada. His first series were published by Soleil, marking his debut in the world of comics. He then took a break of nearly fifteen years to explore the world of illustration in all its forms. After this long hiatus, he finally returned to comics with renewed energy.
