Boum was born in Montreal in 1985. Holder of a college diploma and a bachelor's degree in Traditional Animation, her animated shorts travelled all over the world. Since 2011, however, she has been devoting herself to comics. Her many published works include Boumeries (Glénat Québec), La petite révolution (Front Froid) and Nausées matinales et autres petits bonheurs (La Pastèque). Her latest book, La méduse (Pow Pow, 2022), inspired by her health issues, has won many awards and nominations. Its English translation, The jellyfish, is coming out from Pow Pow Press in May 2024. She has a husband, two daughters, two cats and a very long to-do list.
