Joël Dos Reis Viegas is a Franco-Canadian art director, illustrator, and comic book author. He grew up in France and studied animation at Gobelins in 2000. He specialized in 3D animation before becoming a concept artist in 2007. He moved to Canada and worked for Ubisoft, Eidos, Warner, and EA. In 2012, he went independent and, together with Sébastien Larroudé, founded the creative agency Steambot. Joel has just taken on the role of art director for Roller Champions (Ubisoft) alongside his series Urbance, a manga published by Ankama.
