Étienne Laroche is an illustrator and 3D artist from Saguenay. He has been working in the visual effects industry in Montreal for some twenty years and is best known for co-illustrating the humorous webcomic Bernatchez Joe. Since the project ended, he has drastically shifted gears to bring us Les Effroyables Contes Foncés, published by Éditions Rémi Paradis, a horror comic book that he both writes and illustrates.
