Mireille St-Pierre was born in Rimouski in 1985. After working for several years in various agencies as a graphic designer, she immersed herself completely in the world of illustration. Her internationally acclaimed work shines in its ability to capture the nuances of human sensitivity with delicacy. In 2020, her first graphic novel, La brume, was published by Nouvelle adresse. This autobiographical tale, both spare and poetic, recounts the bereavement of her first child, who died at birth. She returns in 2024 with Suivra le néant, a fantastic tale inspired by the landscapes and nature of her native Bas-Saint-Laurent.
