Éloïse Marseille is a graphic novelist and tattoo artist based in Montreal. Born on 14 February 1996, she has loved drawing since she was a child and discovered the world of tattooing as an adult after graduating from the Studio Arts programme at Concordia University in 2020. She loves nature and, when she’s not on her bike, she draws at Verre Bouteille (arguably the best bar on the island). A self-confessed extrovert, Éloïse doesn’t believe in secret gardens. Her work is honest and raw. She published her first graphic novel, Confessions of a Normal Woman, with Powpow in 2023, which recounts in detail her romantic life from birth to the age of 25 and earned her a nomination for the Booksellers’ Award (no, she didn’t win it, but SO WHAT! It’s a big deal!) In 2025, she published her first volume, Intimate, with MD Editions, which offers sex education for 8- to 10-year-olds. At 30, she’s far from slowing down in the world of comics.
