Originally from Quebec, where she still lives, VAN has built a career in animated film, a field in which she has been working for about ten years. She has long dreamed of creating her own stories, which motivated her to make the transition to comics. By combining her passions for drawing and storytelling, VAN—with her drawers full of ideas—hopes to share her engaging stories and characters with the world. La Nuit aux loups is her first graphic novel and marks her debut in the Casterman catalog.
