Born in Montreal, Simon Labelle holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Concordia University. A writer and comic book author, he published his first works in the magazines Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine, Solaris, Le Polyscope, Spirou, and Croc. From 1992 to 1993, Simon Labelle served as president of the Association of Illustrators of Quebec (Illustration Québec).
