Yves Lessard is a clinical nurse who has worked in A&E for nearly 25 years. He holds several specialist certifications: in critical care, mental health and gerontology. He has worked as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for several weekly newspapers across the province and in Canada, notably for the Ottawa Citizen. A passionate supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers, he is currently illustrating the comic book series Stat: An Emergency Room, published by Perro Éditeur.
