Amélie Bibeau lives in the Eastern Townships region. Since her earliest childhood, her greatest passions have been writing and reading. Before turning to writing novels, she worked as a children’s bookseller for four years at Biblairie GGC, and for several years contributed to La Tribune de Sherbrooke by writing short reviews of young adult novels. She also holds a master’s degree in French literature. Driven by a promise made to her late younger sister, she published the first volume of the Lili-la-Lune series, Papillon de nuit, in 2010. Since then, Amélie has published more than thirty books for young readers. The author enjoys provoking thought and aims to help young people feel less alone.
