Thiago Ferreira is a publisher, graphic designer and comic book critic. A graduate in architecture from the Federal University of Alagoas and in advertising from the University of Montreal, he founded Comix Zone in 2019, a Brazilian publishing house dedicated to auteur comics. To date, he has overseen the publication of over 120 volumes, personally handling the editorial direction and graphic design of the works. In 2023, Comix Zone received the HQMix Publisher of the Year Award. The following year, it won the Jabuti Prize – Brazil’s most prestigious literary award – in the Comics category, for the publication of Como Pedra. In 2025, Thiago Ferreira was honoured with the Angelo Agostini Prize in the special category of Best Publisher. Based in Montreal since 2010, he has been developing publishing projects that connect the Brazilian market to the international comic book scene.
