Charles Fournier is an actor and author. After working in the construction industry for nearly eight years, in 2012 he summoned up the courage to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. That same year, he entered the Conservatoire de Québec. In 2015, he co-wrote and starred in the play Plywood, un show sur le rough, presented at Espace libre under the direction of Réal Bossé. Since then, we've also seen him in a number of plays, films and TV shows? His first play, FOREMAN, premiered at Théâtre Périscope in 2019, co-directed by Olivier Arteau and Marie-Hélène Gendreau. The play has won several awards, including “Œuvre de l'année en Capitale-Nationale from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and “Meilleur texte original” at the Prix de la critique and Prix du théâtre. FOREMAN was produced to sold-out houses until 2024. Charles also collaborates on a number of projects in various media and for different productions, most recently with author Jean-Marc Dalpé on an adaptation of the works of Jack Kérouac.
