About Carine Hinder

Carine Hinder is a French illustrator. She works mainly for children, in publishing, games and visual communications. She is also co-author of Pffirates, an animated series broadcast on TF1. Colorful, dynamic, gentle and joyful, her work has won numerous awards, including the Prix Renaudot in 2013 (Anatole Bristol, le gang des farceurs - Éditions Auzou). She also illustrated the first stories for young people by Katherine Pancol and Marc Levy, published by Hachette. Talented, she has multiple passions that she shares on the networks (ceramics, basketry, culture) and that make her an atypical artist and a jack-of-all-trades! In 2023, she made a name for herself at Glénat with the Brume series, which won the Prix BD Jeunesse - Ville de Saint-Malo. She resides in Brittany.
