conference!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This conference will&nbsp;<strong>bring together researchers interested in the comic arts and their creators<\/strong>&nbsp;for discussions and presentations of research and field work on the theme&nbsp;<em>Beyond Borders<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beyond Borders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether political, geographical, social, linguistic, cultural, graphic, metaphorical, real or imaginary, borders are drawn and apprehended in many ways by comic artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three directions have been proposed for the calls for papers:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Crossing Borders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between Borders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transcending Borders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbdm-mcaf.ca\/en\/about-us\/archives\/international-comic-arts-conference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&gt; More information on the theme<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of more than 40 proposals received, the Scientific Committee has chosen 15 to&nbsp;<strong>be presented from October 19 to 21, at the&nbsp;<em>R\u00e9fectoire de l&#8217;esplanade Tranquille<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;in Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation is free with registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n<div
