In ten years, the independent house forged itself a special place in the world of Quebec comics. In 2015, the publisher created the English division Pow Pow Press to translate and export its catalog to English Canada, as well as to the United States. Since 2016, the house\u2019s books have been distributed across French-speaking Europe. Luc Boss\u00e9 is involved in the boards of directors of MCAF and the Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec. He also illustrated\u00a0<em>Yves, le roi de la cruise\u00a0<\/em>and <em>Yves, fid\u00e8le \u00e0 lui-m\u00eame<\/em> (scenarios by Alexandre Simard) and he is the author of the book\u00a0<em>Comment faire de l\u2019argent<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">David Langis <strong>\u2013 Secretary<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Law graduate from the University of Montreal, David has practised entertainment and commercial law for more than ten years in law firms and within private and public organizations. His practice covers intellectual property law, technology law and personality rights, mainly for clients working in the television and cinema industry as well as in multimedia and creative technologies. David has been involved in several non-profit organizations heavily focused on arts and creation and is often invited as a lecturer on various topics relating to copyright, privacy rights and information technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"louise-guillemette-labory-board-director\"><strong>Charlotte Delwaide \u2013 Administrator<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A longtime comic book enthusiast, Charlotte holds a postgraduate diploma in publishing from the University of Sherbrooke and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in English and French literature from the University of Montreal. She joined the \u00c9ditions Michel Quintin team in 2019 and now holds the position of Director of Rights and Marketing, contributing to the local and international recognition of Quebec and Canadian artists. Continuously developing her hyperactive creative spirit, Charlotte enjoys incorporating her new knowledge into her personal and professional projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"louise-guillemette-labory-board-director\"><strong>Louise Guillemette-Labory \u2013 Administrator<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Former director of the&nbsp;<em>Biblioth\u00e8ques de Montr\u00e9al<\/em>&nbsp;from 2002 to 2015, she has carried out, since the start of her retirement, mandates for the&nbsp;<em>Association des biblioth\u00e8ques publiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>&nbsp;(ABPQ), the cities of Laval and Brossard as well as for the&nbsp;<em>Biblioth\u00e8ques et Archives nationales du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>&nbsp;(BAnQ) in addition to assuming a course load at the School of Library and Information Sciences of the University of Montreal. She also sits on a few boards of directors including the Literacy Foundation,&nbsp;<em>Lire et faire lire<\/em>&nbsp;and of course the Montreal Comic Arts Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"patrice-st-amour-board-member\"><strong>Marie-Claire Lagac\u00e9 \u2013 <strong>Administrator<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Marie Claire Lagac\u00e9 is an interdisciplinary artistic director. With a degree in Industrial Design and over 30 years\u2019 experience, she has been a key collaborator on a broad spectrum of projects across Quebec and internationally, from landmark cultural and artistic creations to unique exhibits and special events. Marie Claire envisions, conceives and develops engaging narrative spaces that draw the audience into rich, immersive experiences. Central to her creative practice is the desire to serve the subject, the concept and the communications strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Philippe Lamarre \u2013 <strong>Administrator<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Philippe Lamarre founded and launched his creative studio in 2000. In 2003, he created URBANIA, a quarterly magazine with bold design and tone, which evolved into a multiplatform media brand and resulted in collaborations with Radio-Canada, RDS et La Presse+. Over the years, multiple awards have recognized the quality of his work and his vision. In 2008, Philippe won the Phyllis-Lambert Grant awarded by DesignMontr\u00e9al, and in 2010, he was named Producer of the Year at the New Media Awards. He currently sits on the boards of directors for the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), the \u00c9cole nationale de l\u2019humour (ENH) and the Nouveau Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Exp\u00e9rimental (NTE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"luc-bosse-board-member\"><strong>Lyne Olivier \u2013 <strong>Administrator<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With a master&#8217;s degree in library and information science, Lyne Olivier has devoted nearly 30 years to the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, where she has held strategic positions such as director of culture, sports, recreation, and social development, head of the culture and libraries division, and head librarian. Retired since February 2025, she was promptly approached by \u00c9lections Montr\u00e9al to take on a mandate as Senior Assistant \u2013 Communications and Voter Participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Francine Yulo \u2013 <strong>Administrator<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Francine Yulo works in pre-production and handles foreign rights inquiries in-house at Drawn &amp; Quarterly. She manages communications with overseas publishing partners and assists with rights sales, acquisitions, and marketing. She has collected comics for nearly thirty years (most of her life), speaks four languages, and holds a Master\u2019s Degree in Translation Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"johanne-desrochers-executive-director\"><strong>M\u00e9lanie La Roche \u2013 Executive Director<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9lanie has several years of experience in finance, administration and human resources management. She manages SME accounting and event logistics. After studying visual arts, she obtained her bachelor&#8217;s degree in business administration with the aim of collaborating in the management of cultural and creative enterprises. In 2015, a series of fortunate encounters introduced her to the Quebec comic book scene, and she enthusiastically accepted the role of Executive Director of MCAF in 2022.
