SUMMARY:Exposition Heavily Greebled / Walter Scott
\n— \nThe exhibition reveals a marked evolution in the practice of Walter Scott\, an internationally recognized artist known for his comics that observe the contemporary art world with humour and insight. He introduces a new character\, Organza\, extending his narrative universe beyond the iconic Wendy. \nAt the heart of the exhibition\, an unclassifiable and resolutely hybrid filmic work navigates between speculative fiction\, autofiction\, and offbeat humour. Driven by a singular visual language—mixing live-action footage\, puppets\, and hand-drawn animation—Organza’s Revenge marks Scott’s bold transition from the medium of comics to that of film\, while preserving the handmade\, sensitive\, and incisive aesthetic that defines his work. \nAt Fonderie Darling\, sculptures\, paintings\, and installation devices extend Organza’s universe beyond the screen and transform the Main Hall into an immersive environment. Visitors are invited to move through this new facet of Scott’s practice\, guided by a narrative that explores the somatic impact of our wounds\, as well as the notions of acceptance\, forgiveness\, and revenge.
