Born in Northern Quebec, Sylvie Rancourt published in the early 1980s the adventures of Melody, story of a nude dancer, an autobiographic BD. Melody comics were published Spain, France and United States and nominated for a prize at the 2014 Angoulême Comics Festival. Today, Sylvie Rancourt lives in Abitibi, continue her BDs and her paintings where Melody appears.
