About Chloé Baillargeon

Chloé Baillargeon is a youth illustrator and author. Even though she is a proud Montrealer, it is in a forest in the Cantons-de-l'Est, where she spent every weekend of her childhood, that her infinite love for Quebec wildlife was born. The characters she creates are often hairy and feathery, but above all they are endearing, sensitive and they push us to a necessary introspection. Depending on her mood, she sometimes signs her drawings under the pseudo Khlö. A self-confessed mischief-maker, her pencil stroke is recognized by the touch of humor she loves to add to her stories. In her opinion, humor is the most interesting and unifying universal language. When she is not drawing, Chloé is strumming her banjo, folding laundry or building a fairy house for her children.
