Olivier has been reading comics for most of his life, and is also an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sherbrooke (Qc, Canada). He specializes in the field of acoustics. Since sound is not really visible and not always easy to explain, he has developed skills in scientific communication. He teaches specialized courses in this field, and in 2021 co-edited the bilingual collection Dessine Ta Science / Draw Your Science which includes comics created by students, researchers and cartoonists from the Université de Sherbrooke. Olivier also published in 2022 an article including a 7-page comic strip in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, a reference journal in acoustics since 1929 (comic strip created with the cartoonist Catherin - Prix Bédélys Indépendant Francophone 2019). As there is not only acoustics in life, Olivier also writes scripts. He offered to Étienne Poisson to collaborate on the most successful one, and Tuer le peintre was self-published after a year of work (Prix Bédélys Indépendant Francophone 2022) and republished in 2023 by Moelle Graphik editions. Olivier co-founded the KrRoLe collective, and has secret projects with Etienne and other artists.
