About Geneviève Bigué
Geneviève Bigué is an illustrator and author born in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. With a formation in Traditional Animation (Cégep du Vieux Montréal) and Graphic Design (UQÀM), she now works in many fields, such as books, advertisement and the cultural scene. In 2022, she published with Front Froid her first graphic novel as an author. Her book, Parfois les lacs brûlent, is now nominated for numerous awards, such as the Prix des libraires du Québec and the Prix Bédélys 2023.
