Fantastic, Humour, Sci-Fi
Graphic designer by day, because one has to eat to live even if one does not have to live to eat, Jean-Claude Aumais becomes the comic book writer Blonk at nightfall - drinking cups of India ink as others gulp down cups of coffee in order to indulge without restraint in his secret vice, the ninth art. Ever since he learned at the age of ten that it is humans who make comics by the sweat of their brow and not highly sophisticated steam machines, Blonk has devoted his life to this forbidden passion. 23h72 is his very first book, following countless years of shadowy Franquin worship. Poisson à pattes, his most recent comic book, was included in the Official Selection of the 2023 Angoulême International Comics Festival.
