About Mario Malouin
Author’s Graphic Novel, Historic, Humour, Sociopolitical
Mario Malouin has been haunting the Quebec comic strip scene since 1971, first by placing humorous strips in regional weeklies. He then worked in the magazines Délire, Summum, Spirou, Fluide Glacial, 7Jours, TV Hebdo and La Semaine, in addition to having been one of the founding authors of the magazine Safarir. He was president of the Quebec City Comics Festival in 2000 and 2001. He has published more than thirty albums, and for some time now, he has been enjoying editing all the material he has accumulated over the years. Among other things, he has resumed the publication of his PIQUANT black humor collections, and is allowing himself new unpublished titles. Recently, he published an album edited by Les Impatients: ENSEMBLE CONTRE LA COVID. It's a cry from the heart in comics of the work and pride of the vaccinators of the different orders during the pandemic.
